Role Description:Seeking experienced brand PR and communications fiends (just like us) with a passion for strategic communications planning and media relations to take a seat at the Mad Hat table as a key account manager on consumer lifestyle clients’ projects.Must be strategic thinking, with great time management, tenacity and excellent presentation skills. Leadership and/or agency experience is a plus. Duties & Responsibilities:The duties and responsibilities of a Mad Hat Insanity Manager includes (but is not limited to) the followingLeading creative brainstorms, campaign planning and roll outClient management, counsel and expectation management by ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, brand guidelines, quality standards, agreed workflows and deliverablesDeveloping ‘‘stand out’ communication strategies, KPIs and client presentationsProducing, checking and managing content for media and various stakeholdersProvide agendas and detailed contact reports following all client meetings (face to face and phone calls)Build client relationships, confidence and trustOversee and manage vendor relationships and ensure processes are metCultivating and maintaining key media and partner relationshipsCampaign project management including timeline and workflow coordinationBudget planning and managementDeveloping and analysing reportsAssist with crisis communications (where necessary)Mentor, motivate and train junior team membersManage performance of direct reportsManage up & educate senior staff on crisis issues, & client/team satisfactionDevelop and edit high quality written materials (long and short form), including media correspondence, by-lines, etc Established relationships with lifestyle media in Malaysia, and are able to identify angles that are suited for the various media verticals. Ability to identify suitable influencers as well as manage negotiations with influencers to collaborate withCreative in proposing interesting content formats as well as co-creation ideas to help brands cut through the clutter on social media, through influencers. Ability to conceptualise activations that are suitable to engage our target audiences to achieve specific brand outcomes.Ability to project manage these activations, in terms of timelines and suitable vendors to partnerAppreciation for all of the touchpoints we need to engage our target audiences on for a memorable eventExperience in developing social media content strategy and managing social media content calendars.Ability to develop copy in the brand’s tone and voice, as well as propose sound recommendations on content formats that can cut through the clutter on social media. Very familiar with how social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube operate and how we can leverage these platforms, and their features for brand marketing/communications efforts.
