Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a dedicated and adaptable Level 1 & 2 Service Desk Technician to join one of our largest retail clients on a 6-month contract. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing on-site technical support across a range of IT systems and environments. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, coordination with global support teams, and supporting technology in dynamic, non-traditional workspaces such as distribution centers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working odd hours and managing a variety of technical issues independently. Key Responsibilities include: - Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Serve as the on-site IT contact, facilitating issue resolution and coordinating with global service desk and support teams. - Troubleshoot and support hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices) and peripheral equipment. - Manage and resolve tickets using ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow. - Support IT infrastructure in distribution center (DC) or warehouse environments, including non-desk-based technologies. - Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and resolutions. - Participate in an on-call rotation and be available for non-standard hours including evenings, weekends, and early mornings. - Ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain high levels of end-user satisfaction.
