Instructional DesignerThis role will create training content where the primary audience is restaurant Team Members, Managers, and District Managers. Training content includes Job Aids, Build Cards, Standard Operating Procedures, Execution Guides, and eLearning modules which are needed to deliver a positive Guest Experience. Strengths: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite: (ex. Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Articulate Storyline 360, and video production /editing software (i. e. , Camtasia, Premiere Pro, Final Cut or similar) required.
Creative and open to learning new design authoring tools ex Inkling, brand toolsProject Management: Ability to support projects and work with vendors on multiple projects simultaneouslyCommunication: Effectively, timely and thoroughly communicate to internal and external teams regarding training needs and initiativesPersonality - fast-learner; organized; systematic; data and results driven - with a relentless focus on completion aligned to mutually agreed deliverablesResponsibilities: Apply learning & development theory/models, leverage, or benchmark best practices/trends, and maintain knowledge of cutting-edge approaches in order to deliver solutions that drive measurable, lasting impact.
Demonstrates abilities to prioritize and advance several projects each week ensuring progress of both short- and long-term goalsSupport Training initiatives from concept to launch, including collecting data, working with vendors, creating materials and collecting feedback from stakeholdersDesign training material for the right audience with a tailored approach for each roleCommunicate training initiatives and projects to internal and external teams through weekly newsletters, webcasts & leadership meetingsAnalytical focus that tracks, monitors, and improves KPIs related to Training & the Guest ExperienceWork with cross functional departments to support Training initiatives and design content based on learning objectives to support restaurant TeamsQualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required, ideally focused in Instructional Design, Education, or relevant fieldExperience working in the restaurant industry (server, cook, cashier, manager)Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Apps InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Effects, Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Powtoon)Familiarity with adult learning methodologies (e. g. ADDIE/SAM) and theories (e. g. transformative/ experiential learning)Advanced knowledge and experience using PowerPointStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support cross functional teamPassion for Learning & Development and openness to learn new design softwareOur benefits package includes:
