Instructional Designer (Content Specialist)

This role focuses on creating engaging, impactful, and learner-centered digital content. You will design and develop e-learning materials, interactive courses, and multimedia assets that enhance the overall learning experience. The ideal candidate is skilled in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and creative tools such as Articulate Rise360 and Canva.Key ResponsibilitiesCourse Creation & DevelopmentDesign and develop e-learning courses using Articulate Rise360.Create graphics, visuals, and videos with Canva to increase engagement.Optimize course frameworks to meet content and learner needs.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine content.Ensure quality standards and learner-first design in all deliverables.Content Design & Learning ExperienceApply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to craft effective learning materials.Develop assessments, quizzes, and knowledge checks to measure learning outcomes.Incorporate interactive elements to drive learner participation.Continuously update and optimize content for improved learner engagement.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with training teams to align course design with program goals.Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex information into easy-to-understand learning content.Coordinate with vendors or external partners for multimedia and design needs.Skills & Experience3–5 years in instructional design and e-learning development.Strong expertise in Articulate Rise360, Canva, and Google Workspace.Knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning theory.Ability to transform technical or complex concepts into learner-friendly content.Creative mindset with strong storytelling and visual communication skills.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Familiarity with AI-enabled learning tools is a plus.Start-up or high-growth environment experience is an advantage.Self-starter with adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a learner-first approach.Why Join Edge?Edge is at a pivotal growth point, and this role offers the rare opportunity to shape the future of global employment.
