Job Title: Instrument EngineerLocation: Saudi Arabia – Western Region (Mandatory)Experience: 3+ Years MinimumEducation: Instrumentation Engineering Graduate (or relevant discipline)Job SummaryWe are seeking an Instrument Engineer to support instrumentation and control activities within the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and documentation of field instrumentation and automation systems in compliance with engineering standards and operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, test, and commission instrumentation systems.Troubleshoot and calibrate instruments such as transmitters, control valves, analyzers, RTDs, and field sensors.Review and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, datasheets, I/O list, and instrument index.Participate in system integration with PLC, DCS, and SCADA.Prepare maintenance plans, calibration schedules, reports, and documentation.Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA standards and industrial safety requirements.Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.Skills & CompetenciesInstrument calibration and troubleshooting knowledge.Experience with automation & control systems.Ability to review vendor documents and drawings.Familiar with field instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, level).Strong analytical and communication skills.Preferred✔ Oil & Gas / Petrochemical project experience✔ Commissioning and plant maintenance exposure✔ Knowledge of international industry standards
