When you average that out, that's an investment of $3.8 million every day!He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation Technician to join our team based at our Rosedale Wastewater Treatment Plant. This will be an exciting role for someone that wants to prove their strength in instrumentation and problem solving to ensure that our drinking water and wastewater services are effectively supplied to the Auckland community.Your role will be to ensure that equipment is working properly, safely, and efficiently. Your responsibilities will be to test, calibrate, install, repair and inspect control systems and monitoring devices.Day To Day You Will BeMaintaining the operational functionality of instrumentation and control systemsInstalling and commissioning additions or upgrades to existing systemsResponding to control system alarms as they ariseNotifying supervisors of any systems found to be at riskMaintaining accurate records of calibration or test results Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About youAboutYou'll need a proven background in instrumentation. You will also need a National Certificate in Industrial Instrumentation and Control Level 4 or equivalent - current Electrical Registration would be an added advantage. You'll be a motivated self-starter with a positive can-do attitude and passionate about Wastewater and Water.
