Energo-Pro produces 1.7 TWh of energy with 8 hydroelectric power plants with an installed capacity of 473 MW in Turkey.We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Instrumentation and Control Lead Engineer to join our team at Energo-Pro Türkiye.We offer you a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team in an international work environment with friendly and supportive culture.ResponsibilitiesSupport in Control Logic DefinitionContribute to the development and documentation of control logic and basic automation philosophy.Assist senior engineers in preparing control strategy documentation.Assistance in Project Specification DevelopmentSupport the preparation of technical project specifications required for tendering and vendor evaluations.Help compile documentation for procurement and technical clarifications.Project Execution SupportAssist senior staff during field activities, installation, configuration, and implementation of I&C systems.Report any technical deviations, missing items, or improvement opportunities identified on-site.Commissioning and Testing AssistanceParticipate in loop checks, functional tests, FAT/SAT activities, and commissioning support tasks.Assist with instrument calibration, wiring verification, and documentation of test results.Maintenance AssistanceSupport preventive and corrective maintenance of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, sensors, and field instruments.Participate in troubleshooting activities under supervision.Operations CollaborationWork with the Operations team to gather system performance feedback.Assist in developing improvement suggestions to enhance automation performance and reliability.Continuous Improvement ParticipationContribute to digitalization and automation improvement initiatives.Perform small-scale improvement tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.DocumentationAssist in maintaining updated system documentation, including P&IDs, as-built drawings, datasheets, and maintenance records.Support compliance with relevant international standards (IEC, ISA, NFPA).Vendor & Contractor Coordination SupportParticipate in technical meetings with OEMs, system integrators, and contractors.Support tracking of technical documents, meeting notes, and change requests.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.2–5 years of experience especially in Hydroelectric field.Exposure to industrial automation, instrumentation, or maintenance environments is preferred.Basic knowledge or willingness to learn PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.), HMI/SCADA systems, Industrial communication (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP), field instrumentation (pressure, temperature, level, flow), reading P&IDs and understanding basic control loop logicStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving motivationEagerness to learn and develop technical skillsGood teamwork and communication abilitiesOrganized documentation and reporting habitsEffective coomunication and documentation skills in EnglishWillingness to occasionally travel to industrial sitesClass B driver’s license (preferred)Familiarity with CMMS or project management tools is a plus
