Minerva Marine, a leading maritime company, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as an Insurance Administrator with a temporary contract. This is a critical role within our company that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.ResponsibilitiesCommunicates, coordinates and maintains the appointment agenda between the Insurance Manager and other departments and/or third parties/insurance contactsMaintains office files and recordsAssists in all administrative activitiesReceives and refers visitors and telephone callersDistributes mail and responds with formal letters to routine requestsAssembles relevant data as directedProduces a variety of correspondence and reportsHandles administrative aspects of Group Medical ProgramRequirementsUniversity degree in relevant field (Business Administration, Insurance, Maritime, Law)Shipping industry experience and specifically in operations and claims functions will be considered an assetExcellent knowledge of EnglishExcellent knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of SAP will be considered an assetDriven with good organizational skills and ability to resolve conflicts smoothlyExcellent communication skills, building relationships easily, high empathy
