Job Title: Insurance Placement & Process AuditorLocation: Philadelphia, PA (100% REMOTE)Compensation: $125,000k - $150,000k + bonus + potential for equityPosition Summary:The Insurance Placement & Process Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance processes related to the placement, issuance and servicing of insurance policies to customers in order to limit Errors & Omissions (E&O) exposures within our client’s clients. This role conducts audits, identifies areas of risk, and provides recommendations to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce E&O claims. Key Responsibilities:Plan and execute internal audits focusing on identifying E&O exposures, including insurance policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and claims handling processes.Assess compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to the placement and issuance of insurance policies.Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and areas of potential exposure to E&O claims.Prepare clear, concise audit reports with actionable recommendations for process and control improvements.Collaborate with business units to implement corrective actions and monitor progress.Assist in developing and updating E&O audit programs and risk assessment tools.Provide training and guidance to agencies and staff on E&O best practices and internal controls.Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to E&O risk and insurance brokerage operations.Support investigations of E&O incidents and provide analysis as needed.Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.7+ years of experience in internal audit, E&O claims, risk management, or insurance operations (brokerage experience preferred).Knowledge of E&O exposures, insurance products, and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Attention to detailEthical judgment and integrityCritical thinkingProcess improvement orientationCollaboration and communicationThe specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
