Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Project Manager to work in the Charlotte, NC area. This is a direct hire position that offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. General Purpose: Project Managers are organized, passionate and goal-oriented who understand what projects have in common, and their strategic role in how organizations succeed, learn and change. Project managers are change agents: they make project goals their own and use their skills and expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Drive for results, sense of urgency. Effectively manage project timelines and ensure customer requirements are planned for and met. Ability to analyze project/job costing with budget vs. actual analysis on initial production. Ability to assemble quote sheets and manage product documents (project summary, Gantt Chart, Project Charters, etc. ). Ability to coordinate deadlines, work with internal stakeholders and utilize Project Management tools to execute tasks. Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them. Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project. Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy. Communicate with the executives to keep the project aligned with their goals. Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected. Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
Flexibility and ability to assimilate new knowledge and standards quickly. Strong written and verbal communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and team members. Actively seek to utilize a "Collaborative Team Approach” in all situations. Ability to build interpersonal relationships within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to diplomatically communicate needs and recommendations. Ability to analyze data/inventory. Demonstrated proactive style that ensures the completion of projects despite obstacles. Ability to navigate through an ERP computer system.
