Position DetailsTitle: Quality Integrity AnalystDepartment: QualityReports to: Manager, Global TestingLocation: Seoul, South KoreaJob Classification: HybridFLSA Status: ExemptJob Band: ProfessionalJob SummaryThe role involves learning and performing various lab tests, operating lab equipment, and ensuring accuracy by following specific testing instructions. Responsibilities include recording and reporting test results, collaborating with internal and external labs to resolve issues, and analyzing results to provide feedback. Analyzing lab failures and determining the usability of raw materials is a key responsibility. The candidate should be able to train other Lab Technicians, review and write testing protocols, and collaborate on non-conformance issues. Additionally, the role requires managing partnerships, maintaining testing systems and procedures, and supporting quality resolution processes. Operate all lab equipment, including but not limited to the testing apparatus', and Spectrophotometer as prescribed by the Fabric Testing manualEnsure accuracy by following specific testing instructionsConduct and complete non – routine testing as required in a timely and efficient mannerRecord test results for all fabrics, full package items and raw materials in the proper filesReport all fabric, finished goods and raw material physical failures / issues to the Manager of Global Testing and the Raw Materials Analyst(s)Collaborate with internal labs and fabric mills to correlate results, identify issues; work with management to resolve issues.Develop and conduct result analysis to provide information and feedback about specific fabrics or mills to management and other necessary stakeholders.The ability and willingness to instruct and train other technicians on the processes and procedures related to Carhartt and lab testing/evaluation. Assist in reviewing industry standard test methods (ASTM, AATCC, etc.) and writing internal testing protocols for current test methods and new methods to be added in the futureDeliver collaboration with Procurement, Product Development, Sourcing, Merchandising, Technical Design, etc. on raw material and/or finished goods non-conformance issues and resolution; execute an RCA CAPA in partnership with vendor Analyze internal and external lab failures to determine material usability Work with fabric development on new high-risk fabrics to review specs and test data to ensure issues are addressed and resolved. Attend seasonal hand-off meeting as needed. Analyze and review raw material data and communicate with all suppliers (CMT, Full Package and Internal) to review failures, defects and non-conformance issues; determine if warning or chargeback will be issued. Report issues accurately and timely. Manage cross functional partnership with Sourcing to ensure compliance and education with new programs and suppliersCreate and distribute reports, archive data, and interface with Dearborn on global testing Maintain all systems and procedures associated with testing, including records and equipment.Support Quality Issues Resolution Process as well as Product Quality Review (“PQR”)Work on special projects as assigned Conduct occasional lab toursRequired EducationBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, quality assurance, textile science or related field.
