Job DescriptionIn this key leadership role, you'll work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board to guide the financial and operational performance of the group. You'll bring insight, challenge, and clarity to complex decisions, ensuring our finance function drives real impact.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead a team of Finance Business Partners and Commercial Managers to deliver impactful financial insights and strategic support to Business Unit leadershipProvide commercial financial leadership and insights to the Executive Leadership Team and respective leadership teamsLead the Group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectivesDelivery of financial performance reports and budget updates during Board meetings with confidence and clarityCritically evaluate major business cases, projects, and commercial decisions across the GroupQualificationsWe’re seeking a seasoned and commercially driven finance leader who thrives in complexity and brings a strategic mindset to every challenge.

With a strong technical foundation and a proven ability to influence at the highest levels, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of the organisation.

Relevant tertiary qualifications complemented by a professional accreditation Proven leadership of commercial finance teams and close partnership with senior stakeholders, including at Executive and Board levelDeep experience in group financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and performance analysisExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage, influence, and challenge senior stakeholders with credibility and impactDemonstrated ability to evaluate capital investments and business cases, with advanced financial modelling and commercial assessment skillsStrong capability in translating complex financial data into actionable insights and influencing strategic decision-makingExperience in infrastructure, capital-intensive, or highly leveraged sectors is advantageousAdditional InformationIf you’re a commercially astute leader with experience in large-scale enterprise environments and you're ready to make your mark in the fast-evolving energy sector, then we want to hear from you.
