Interim Finance Director

About The RoleA high-growth, PE-backed technology company is seeking an Interim Regional Finance Director to lead financial operations across Continental Europe. As the key business partner to the Regional GM and leadership team, you’ll drive strategic decision-making, performance improvement, and scalable finance processes across a multi-country setup. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role reporting to the Group CFO, with dotted-line accountability to the Regional GM.ResponsibilitiesLead financial planning, control, and reporting across the Continental regionDrive data-driven performance management and profitability improvementsDevelop and oversee local finance leaders in multiple countries (matrix structure)Act as a strategic partner to regional operations, sales, and commercial leadsEnsure compliance, audit readiness, and robust internal controlsCollaborate with Group Finance (Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Compliance)Support M&A integration, cost optimization, and process scalabilityRequirements10+ years of senior finance leadership in international, B2B, or PE-backed firmsProven experience managing cross-border teams in FP&A, controlling, and complianceStrong strategic and analytical mindset with digital finance system fluencyHands-on, results-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-scaling environmentsFluent in German and English (additional European languages a plus)
