Job Description

IO Interactive is looking for an Interim Procurement Manager to join us on a fixed-term contract covering paternity leave through 31 December 2026. This role supports procurement operations across all IOI studios and projects.We are currently developing two major titles: Project 007, a brand-new James Bond video game featuring an entirely original Bond story, and Project Fantasy, an ambitious new IP for console and PC.As a senior member of our operations function, you will own procurement strategy, lead high-value negotiations, and act as a trusted partner to stakeholders across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong commercial judgment and working fluency in legal and contractual language.What You Will DoLead procurement strategy across multiple studios, departments, and projects Own end-to-end supplier and contract lifecycle management Drive complex commercial and contractual negotiations Review, interpret, and negotiate contractual terms, including legal clauses, risk allocation, and compliance requirements Partner closely with Legal, Finance, IT, Production, and department leads Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising quality or delivery Establish and maintain procurement governance, policies, and best practices Proactively manage supplier risk, performance, and relationships Provide clear procurement insights to support strategic decision-making Act as escalation point for procurement and supplier-related matters Who You AreProcurement leadership or managerial experience Strong track record in contract negotiation and contract management Comfortable working with legal and contractual terminology (MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, SLAs, licensing agreements, etc.) Able to identify commercial, legal, and operational risks within agreements Confident stakeholder partner capable of influencing senior leaders Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented Independent, proactive, and solution-driven Strong communicator and negotiator Experience in gaming, technology, software, or creative industries is a plus Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Law, or related field is beneficial Who We AreIO Interactive is an independent videogame development and publishing company with studios in Copenhagen, Malmö, Barcelona, Istanbul and Brighton.
