MHTN Architects is looking for a creative and driven Interior Designer to join our collaborative design team. In this intermediate-level role, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of innovative architectural projects that shape meaningful environments. You’ll work alongside experienced designers, architects, and graphic specialists to bring spaces to life—from concept through construction. Whether you're developing schematic designs, refining construction documents, or walking job sites to ensure every detail aligns with the vision, your work will contribute to places that matter deeply to the communities they serve. If you’re ready to deepen your design expertise and make a lasting impact, we want to hear from you.What You’ll Do:Contribute to design and presentation ideation and creation across all phases of design, including schematic design and design developmentPlan, design, and furnish interiors for architectural projects with creativity and purposeResearch and select interior products, apply established design standards and sustainable best practicesDevelop designs that are practical, aesthetic, and aligned with the intended use of each spaceCommunicate design ideas clearly through sketching, visualization, and construction documentationApply knowledge of building and construction codes to ensure compliant design solutionsCreate and maintain program and construction documents throughout the project lifecycleCollaborate with project architects and interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic design approachesInterface directly with clients to understand and respond to project-specific needsPromote socially and environmentally responsible design through informed and respectful client engagementConduct site visits during construction phases to verify design implementation and manage punch list itemsTake ownership of design tasks with increasing independence, while receiving mentorship and support from senior designersWhat You Bring:Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent graphic and visualization abilities to effectively communicate design conceptsProficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering conceptsFamiliarity with building materials and codes, material compatibility, construction techniques, and cost considerationsProficient knowledge of furniture systems, vendors, procurement processes, and material palette selectionHighly organized with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentEffective time-management skills to balance multiple priorities and deadlines5 to 9 years of professional commercial Interior Design experienceDegree in Interior Design or related field.
