Interior Designer

Position Title : Interior DesignerLocation: KampalaSummary:The Interior Designer will support the company by creating functional, stylish, and customer-focused interior layouts that showcase our furniture products. They will work closely with sales, production, and clients to develop design concepts, provide 3D visualisations, and ensure the furniture selected aligns with client needs and the company’s brand.Key Responsibilities Meet with clients to understand their space, style preferences, budget, and functional needs. Develop design concepts, mood boards, and layout plans for residential or commercial spaces. Prepare 2D drawings and 3D renders to help clients visualise furniture placement. Recommend furniture pieces, finishes, fabrics, and accessories from the company’s product line. Work closely with the production team to customize furniture where needed. Conduct site assessments and take accurate measurements. Prepare quotations, proposals, and detailed specifications for clients. Oversee installation and ensure the final setup follows the approved design. Keep up-to-date with trends in furniture, interior décor, colors, and materials. Support the marketing team with styled photoshoots, showroom layouts, and display concepts. RequirementsQualifications & Skills Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Proven experience in interior design (experience in furniture showrooms is an added advantage). Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or 3D Max. Strong creative sense with attention to detail, color coordination, and space planning. Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong customer service orientation.
