INTERIOR DESIGNER

Are you a creative and technically adept interior designer with a passion for architecture and spatial storytelling? We’re looking for someone just like you to join a multidisciplinary team and help shape meaningful, high-quality built environments.What You’ll Be DoingContribute to the interior design process from concept through to detailed documentation, ensuring designs are both beautiful and functionalProduce and coordinate Revit-based interior design models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and seamless integration with architectural and engineering workflowsPrepare plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and material boardsCollaborate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, clients, and contractors to coordinate design, resolve issues, and deliver to programOversee furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selection, specification, and procurementDevelop schematic, design development, and construction documentation stagesParticipate in site inspections and support contract administration as neededStay current with materials, finishes, trends, and relevant regulationsWhat they're looking forA degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalentStrong proficiency in Revit (modeling, documentation, and coordination)Solid experience in commercial, multi-residential, or hospitality or interiorsExcellent design skills, graphic presentation ability, and attention to detailAbility to work well in a collaborative environment and coordinate across disciplinesGood communication skills, both written and verbalStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projectsKnowledge of Australian standards, building codes, and interior detailingWhat you’ll getA creative, supportive studio environment with a strong emphasis on quality, innovation, and sustainabilityExposure to a broad range of project types and scalesOpportunity to work closely with architects, landscape and urban design consultantsProfessional development and growth potentialAnd if you start soon, you’ll be just in time to join the team for the Christmas party!Get in Touch:For any questions relating to this role or other opportunities with D&B and our clients please contact Charlie Jones on 0431 344 459 / CJones@designandbuild.com.au or click apply.
