Development of creative design directions for projects – the opportunities are endless!Design, create and optimize 3D concept layouts in SketchUp for projects based on customer wants and needsCoordination and communication with all members of the project team including client, contractor, trades, suppliers, and consultants (electrical, mechanical, etc.
)Programming, space planning, contract documentation, contract administrationDevelop and maintain project schedule and budgetSelection and specification of FF&EBe a strong asset to the project team through excellent organization and people skills in addition to working independentlyAttend site for progress and deficiency reviewsA thorough review of all construction documents for quality assuranceEstablish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationshipsSkills and Knowledge:
Degree or Diploma in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited schoolExperience using Sketchup and AutoCAD (Revit is great too!)Proficiency working with Microsoft Office - including PowerPointExperience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Experience with a range of commercial interior design, with an emphasis on workplace designBC Building Code understanding. If only a foundation, knowing where to find the information, how to find it, and when to ask the right questions. Â Benefits and Culture Base competitive salary plus performance bonuses $50,000 - $80,000 based on experience.
