With the leadership team in place, the opportunity is now to execute a scalable retail expansion strategy, optimize sales execution, and maximize category leadership on the path to a lucrative exit.What You’ll DoWe are seeking a detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to support full-cycle accounting operations for a growing international group. This role will focus on day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable, payroll administration, and month-end reporting while also assisting with consolidations and intercompany transactions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment using a large ERP system (NetSuite).Your Responsibilities Will IncludeAccounts Payable & PaymentsManage end-to-end AP process including vendor invoices, approvals, and payment runs.Ensure proper coding, documentation, and compliance with internal controls.Maintain vendor records and support annual 1099/T4A reporting.Payroll & BenefitsAdminister biweekly/monthly payroll for Canada, US and international staff.Manage benefits administration, employee enrollments/terminations, and compliance.Prepare payroll reconciliations and support related filings.Month-End Close & ReportingPrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.Support preparation of consolidated financial statements across multiple entities.Assist with foreign currency transactions and revaluations.Contribute to variance analysis and management reporting.ERP & Process ImprovementMaintain accuracy of transactions and reporting in NetSuite. Partner with finance leadership on automation and system enhancements.Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.Other ResponsibilitiesAssist with intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.Support external audits, tax compliance, and special projects as required.Exposure to construction accounting is considered an asset.Who You AreMinimum 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience.Solid experience in AP, payroll, month-end close, and reconciliations.Experience with NetSuite or other large ERP system required.Familiarity with multi-entity consolidations and foreign currency accounting.CPA designation (or in progress) is an asset, but not required.Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; technology- and automation-focused.Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive.Comfortable working remotely and independently within a global team.QualificationsCPA designation is preferred
