INTERMEDIATE ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST

Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Intermediate Architectural Technologist you will report directly to the Principal Designer and work closely with the Design and Production team and Project Management team to support successful project outcomes by contributing key elements, including (but not limited to):Site architectural drawing initiation and coordination with third-party suppliers and consultantsSite drawings review to ensure consistency, accuracy and correct connection/interface between site-built elements, site services and modular unitsCoordination with Design to ensure project design intent is metCoordination with Engineering to ensure appropriate, accurate and consistent information for constructionArchitectural plan revisions during drawings development and permitting process to incorporate required refinement and revisionsReview and analysis of project drawing standards for continuous improvementOther project related administration and communication tasks, as requiredRequired QualificationsDiploma in Architectural Technology (or Architectural/Building/Construction Technology equivalent)3–5 years experience working with site construction drawings (residential, light commercial, prefab/modular asset)Proficient with:RevitAutoCadSketch UpGoogle Suite (Gmail/Sheets/Docs)Willingness to learn/use new software, as requiredKey Skills & AttributesOn-site knowledge and experience with site constructionExceptional attention to detailKnowledge of the Canadian Building Code and the International Residential Code Collaborative team player with a positive attitude Self-motivated to excel both autonomously and in collaboration within project teamsClear written, verbal and visual communicatorExcellent time management and analytical skillsReporting & InterfacesReports to: Principal DesignerWorks closely with: Project Management (for client/consultant follow-up), Design & Engineering‍ScheduleDay shiftsFull timeMonday to FridayOvertime and occasional weekends as neededLanguage RequirementEnglish preferredFrench not requiredApply nowAre you ready to redefine what home design andbuilding looks like?
