We believe that people from different backgrounds and experiences can bring valuable insights to our workplace that enhance the way we work.We are always looking for professional and talented people to join our team of experienced Architects, Interior Designers, Architectural Technologists and Contract Administrators.ROLE DESCRIPTIONReporting·        Member of the Design Team·        Report to the Managing Director of Design and the Partner in Charge for the project currently engage on·        Assist with mentoring Junior staffKey Responsibilities·        Work primarily with the design team and broader office teams (Marketing, Architectural Technology and Contract Administration) as required·        Project lead for small to medium size projects·        Implement and champion drawing standards and project processes·        Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff·        Taking direction from supervisory team members·        Primary point of contact with approving authorities·        Primary point of contact with client/project manager·        Work on multiple projects at one time·        You will use such programs as Microsoft Office, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite·        Primary design lead on projects·        Prepare and review design reports, presentation packages ·        Lead by example in all areas of work·        Other design tasks as requiredQualities and Credentials ·        Legally entitled to work in Canada·        A masters of Architecture or equivalent from an accredited post-secondary institution·        Registration with AAA, or other provincial governing body, or currently working towards qualifying for registration·        A professional and energetic attitude ·        Ability to efficiently produce strong visual communication material ·        Excellent written and verbal English communication skills·        Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for collaboration and teamwork. ·        Proven problem-solving skills ·        An ability to work on multiple projects; ·        Effective time management skills and an ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. ·        Strong self-motivation and excellent critical thought·        Experience with Microsoft Office, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite·        Knowledge of Alberta Building Codes·        Highly organized·        Strong attention to detail and time-management skills ·        Works well independently and in a collaborative environment·        Your portfolio should demonstrate proven design and visualization ability, as well as the design methodology you employ in your design process. ·        Industry-recognized certifications such as LEED® AP, WELL, RHFAC etc. will be considered an asset.
