Job description: YOUR ROLE As Regional Intermodal Coordinator for the Africa Region, you will lead and coordinate the network of ILS and Cross Sell Managers in line with the Intermodal department’s strategy. You will implement and monitor commercial and operational action plans, promote best practices, and contribute to developing new services and optimizing costs. The role also involves managing budgets, coordinating tariffs, and tracking both financial and environmental performance. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ? You are in charge of coordinating the Intermodal activity in the Region and animate the ILS Network of agencies You monitor Regional performances- As such, you participate in the definition of the objectives of the year for TEU's and Carrier Haulage & green ratio and ensure compliance with these objectives You control Performance and their evolution, by implementing corrective actions if necessary You Coordinate Tarifs review, procurements needs & actions with HO Intermodal You participate in the development of specific plans for the countries , support for the review of the local organization, definition of the intermodal product , setting goals, coaching and performance monitoring You challenge ILS and Cross sales managers on their pricing strategy, and on their respective cooperation You coordinate with local sales teams, ILS teams, Customer Service, and Procurement ; Coordination and strengthening links withn ILS teams, local Sales actors, and Procurement teams are key factors for thriving in this position and achieving the required objectives. You are ou are in charge of the Performance of your area in collaboration with HO Intermodal ; Key Accounts and Lines at Head Office. In this context, you make a personalized and continuous communication, set a specific offer and check the margins., As such , you communicate with different interlocutors in Head Office, Regional Offices and Agencies You share news of the area: country performance point on the corridors, changing rates, new process, methodology , green strategy , new development You promote best practices and sharing of knowledge and processes within the region and cross region and you provide training and documentation to agencies You monitor Intermodal savings and CIP in view of OPEX committees and as per budget You monitor vendors service levels (determination of SLA, audits, market intelligence) and you can work together with a wide network of transportation company’s You strive in the complete package of tasks, pro-active to keep the costs low and revenues high You manage projects on the instructions of your manager and you are able to perform tasks quickly and with operational sensitivity You can see the bigger picture, think out of the box You position yourself as support to ILS teams in the Region and able to help them in a problem-solving way You support the network operationally on daily tasks if necessary You report to your manager on a daily basis and you are constantly looking for improvement of our department WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ? Graduated with a Masters in Business, Logistics, you have gained a first experience in shipping, logistics, intermodal and / or transportation field. You are fluent in French and English and are used to work in an international environment. You have a good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, IT tools. You also have a good knowledge of CMA CGM tools (QLIKSENSE, LARA, GAIA etc..). Your interpersonal skills, good communication skills and your qualities of self-reliance, organization and coordination are key assets to carry out the tasks of this position.
