This role offers the unique opportunity to grow a fast-growing and dynamic organisation in Singapore!Role and ResponsibilitiesPerform industry research in the areas of Carbon Ecosystem Enablers (e.g. carbon exchange and marketplaces, monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV), carbon ratings, carbon accounting and advisory services, among other sectors)Total addressable market (TAM) and growth potentialCompetitive landscape and dynamicsKey risks and considerationsSupport the evaluation of investment opportunitiesFinancial modelling, valuation analyses, and sensitivity & scenario analysesCollaborate internally to build investment theses and prepare investment memorandumsPrepare written analyses, evaluations, and presentations of investment opportunities for use by senior management and review by the Investment Committee and the BoardMonitoring and maintenance of internal CRM databaseAssist in portfolio support with reporting, value creation and dataroom management.Experience and QualificationsUndergraduates preferably with finance, business, environmental science, sustainability or related disciplinesStrong interest in topics relating to carbon markets and venture capitalAnalytical problem-solver with attention to detailsStrong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentPrior internship with experiences in venture capital / private equity and/or investment banking will be viewed favourablyMinimum availability: 3 months (6 months preferred)
