What The Role IsUnder the internship programme, you will be attached to the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence (DSAI COE) in HDB’s Information Services Group (ISG).What You Will Be Working OnWe’re looking for a well-rounded Marketing & Communications (Engagement) Intern who is comfortable with working in a results-oriented environment. You will join our expanding DSAI COE team at HDB and work with our Engagement Manager to promote and enhance the data and analytics culture within the organization through marketing and communications. To succeed in this position, you should possess the ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge, work autonomously, communicate proficiently, and perform effectively in a nurturing and empathetic environment.You Will Assist in the creation of marketing and promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and email campaigns. Provide support in organizing and implementing (including managing logistics, budget, and vendors) community events and initiatives such as meetups, competitions, seminars, and brown bag sessions to level up competencies of HDB officers in DS & AI. Assist to engage with community members through various publicity strategies, including EDM, polls, focus group sessions, and collaboration tools like MS Teams. Develop and manage the community portal and knowledge hub, including sourcing useful resources such as articles, videos, tutorials on Data Science and moderating forum activity or write content. Play an active role in engaging business units to participate in and contribute to the community activities. Track and analyze engagement metrics to measure the success of community initiatives and identify areas for improvement. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community engagement and apply them to the community's activities. Source for speakers from both the public sector and industry for community meetups where appropriate. Participate in the plannning and execution of events or gamified activities to engage and excite the DSAI community. Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
