Together, we can build the future of data storage.Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work on a project-based assignment to develop a Spotfire analysis landing page that supports routine engineering statistical data analytics and visualizationDesign the Spotfire statistical analysis page to be broadly accessible for any engineer, enabling the use of data from Redshift and local datasets, reducing the need for additional statistical analysis software licensesAssist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing datasets to ensure accuracy and quality for analysisSupport the development and validation of basic statistical and machine learning models under the guidance of senior team membersHelp create interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to engineers and stakeholdersQualificationsREQUIRED:Pursuing a bachelor's in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Data science, Digital Engineering or a related fieldInternship student in the cooperative education program (CWIE) is required to have an internship period of at least 4-6 monthsSkillsSkills in SQL, Python, and R for custom analysis and data visualizationSkills in Project ManagementKnowledge in Statistical AnalysisDemonstrate a good level of English proficiencyAdditional InformationWestern Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
