Internship Opportunity at Decage—Apply Now!Join Decage, a Dhaka-based research and advocacy nonprofit organization dedicated to criminal legal system reform, human rights protection and systemic transformation of criminal justice governance.Decage works to address the structural neglect and legal invisibility faced by citizens in conflict with law, particularly those from the socioeconomically marginalized section. Key Responsibilities 1. Support Decage’s ongoing research, communication and advocacy initiatives. 2. Assist in fieldwork through interviews, surveys, court visits and data collection. 3. Help with data entry, analysis and documentation under supervision. 4. Conduct secondary research and assist in developing presentations, reports and visual materials (infographics, charts, etc.). 5. Participate in team discussions, brainstorming sessions and internal peer reviews. 6. Contribute to the planning and coordination of seminars, roundtables and public dialogues. 7. Support event logistics, including outreach, participant communication and documentation. 8. Maintain project documentation and archives; draft briefs, press notes and event summaries. 9. Assist in managing Decage’s digital presence through website updates and social media content. Internship Highlights1. Open to undergraduate (final year) or postgraduate students in law who are passionate about criminal legal system.2. Must be prominent in the MS office and fluent in English, both reading and writing.3. Gain hands-on experience in field research, policy documentation, assisting death penalty cases, hands-on experience on criminal court procedure and justice-sector advocacy. 4. Monthly stipend: 6,000 BDT. May increase based upon performance.5. A flexible schedule of 4 hours per day (between 10am to 6pm) and a certificate of completion upon successful participation.
