We are currently looking for an ambitious Intern to join our Growth Markets Fund (GMF) Investment Team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.The RoleCIP’s Growth Markets Fund (GMF) focuses on high-yield renewable energy investments at both the project and platform level, targeting select developing and fast-growing economies globally. The investment team brings together expertise across development, financing, and M&A, with a core mission to source, develop, finance, and eventually exit each investment.Interns are integral to the team, contributing across the full deal lifecycle—from shaping the investment thesis to supporting development, construction, and divestment phases.Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:Presenting technical and financial data in a clear and engaging format for stakeholdersSupporting investment activities through financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuringConducting market research and due diligence on potential investment opportunitiesCollaborating with industrial partners and external advisors throughout the investment processEngaging in a dynamic learning environment focused on personal and professional growthThis is a fixed-term position based in CIP’s Kuala Lumpur office, where you’ll be continuously challenged and supported in your development.YouWe are looking for graduates from Economics, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines with a strong connection to renewable energy investment.We look for the following in a candidate:Demonstrates top academic performance, strong analytical skills, and a proactive work ethicCommunicates effectively in English and thrives in team environments with attention to detailShows genuine interest in corporate finance, strategy, and M&A, with a curious and creative mindsetSkilled in Excel and PowerPoint; multilingual abilities are a plusAvailable full-time and capable of working independently with a ‘can-do’ attitudeThe processPlease apply online as soon as possible as applications will be processed on an ongoing basis.
