Assist to obtain quotation based on design and specification from vendors, and fabric sample request with vendors and/or stakeholders. Obtain information on new suppliers and uniform items, including the collection of uniform, fabric samples as requested. For new samples, to coordinate with clear fabric make and obtain in return test reports from laundry with Wardrobe. Liaise with uniform suppliers & wardrobe on ordering, pricing, quality control, new samples, invoicing etc to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of uniform items. Coordinate the purchase of staff uniforms including those for events across the property in a timely and effective manner and as required under the direction of the Wardrobe and user team. Interface with user departments, support, seeks information and advice as necessary. Perform any other tasks, duties and/or projects as assigned. Prepare design brief for new uniform of specified department. Summarize the various proposals to stakeholder for selection Coordinate the selected proposal for sampling and seek final sign off. Support size breakdown and 1st ordering processing post-modem for 1st order of new uniform. Job RequirementsEducation & CertificationApplicant must be a full-time matriculated studentInternship must contribute to school graduation requirementsExperienceNo experience required as training will be providedOther PrerequisitesPossess basic computer literacy. Ability to juggle both short-term daily tactical role and long-term strategic initiatives. Proactive, has fashion sense, ability to adapt to fast paced environment. A passion for working with diverse workplace. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate data, and document procedures. Approachable and responds appropriately to queries and feedback. Knowledge of uniform in hotel environment will be plus point.
