Your JobJohn Zink is looking for an intern, in the quality/welding field, that will evaluate the impact of the implementation of the ISO 3834 certification for our production facility located in Dudelange Luxembourg.We offer 3 months internship.Our TeamKES is a growing family of companies that serves customers with innovative, engineered-to-order solutions. Our equipment group business is supplying components for applications in various markets with a focus on the refining and petrochemical Industry. The range of products includes burners, flares, thermal oxidizers, boiler burners, and vapor recovery systems for John Zink Hamworthy Combustion entity. The open position will be located in our KES office located in Dudelange, GD of Luxembourg.What You Will DoReview our current processes in comparison to ISO 3834 requirementsCoordinate with shop supervisors, welders, assemblers, project quality manager, quality system engineer… to understand the feasibility of the implementation of the requirementsDefine the impact of the implementation of the ISO 3834 both on our processes and on the needed additional tools (if any)Coordinate with supply chain and supplier to obtain pricing for any additional equipment / Notified Body certificationEvaluate the cost and schedule aspect to have a dossier ready for approvalPrepare the update of the procedure that would need to be amended to comply fully with ISO 3834Eventually support some additional improvement opportunities related to the quality expectationsWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Student in a welding engineering schoolFluent both in English and FrenchExcellent organizational skills, solution-oriented mindset with a force of proposal attitudeGood knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially those related to weldingKnowledgeable of the Microsoft Pack Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), any IT related knowledge would be a plus (PowerBI, PowerApps)At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
