The Intern Quality Control and Assurance will gain practical exposure and experience in QC and QA processes.Qualification RequirementsGrade 12Studying towards a National Diploma: Food Technology final yearTertiary institution logbook stipulating the relevant exposure and experience neededExperience RequirementsBasic understanding of laboratory practicesLaboratory safety & handling of chemicalsGood understanding of OHSProactive communication skillsStrong numerical abilityStrong teamwork abilityUnderstanding housekeeping and ensuring proactive implementation thereofTaking accountability for tasksLearning aptitudeKey OutputsPrepare chemicals for analysisTesting of product samplesReporting of all results timeouslyGeneral housekeeping and participating in all lab processes and activitiesEquipment calibration and verificationShift hygiene, plant inspection and housekeepingReporting of operational non- conformitiesEquipment verificationProduct sample collection and submission to the labWeight verificationShift start up and end of shift QC consolidation.Product and packing QC verification batch codes, labelling, etc
