Internal Audit Manager

KPP Search have partnered with a leading Energy Business in Germany, who are looking to hire and internal audit manager to join their fast-growing and dynamic team in Berlin.As the internal audit manager, you will be responsible for overseeing managing financial and operational audits across a diverse business operations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.You will lead and execute internal audits, assess internal controls, and provide recommendations to improve processes and minimise risks. The ideal candidate will possess strong internal controls expertise and a proven track record of managing audits within a dynamic business environment.Key Responsibilities:Plan, execute, and report on financial and operational audits globally.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and industry regulations.Travel internationally to conduct audits at different business units.Key Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA) is a plus.Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in internal auditing, preferably within a global industrial setting.Proven experience in managing a team of auditors.Strong knowledge of financial and operational audit processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Fluent EnglishEU Passport holder
