As our first Internal Auditor, you will lead the design and implementation of audit frameworks that safeguard operational integrity, enhance risk management, and drive compliance across all business units. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring our systems and processes are resilient, scalable, and aligned with global best practices.This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills—someone ready to build from the ground up and make a lasting impact in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement the internal audit framework, policies, and proceduresConduct comprehensive risk assessments across departments and business unitsDevelop annual audit plans aligned with strategic and operational prioritiesPerform operational, financial, and compliance audits across the organizationIdentify control gaps and recommend practical, scalable solutionsPrepare detailed audit reports and dashboards for executive leadershipMonitor implementation of corrective actions and follow-up auditsEnsure alignment with international standards and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with Finance, HR, IT, and Operations to embed controls into workflowsAdvise senior management on risk mitigation and governance improvementsTrain and mentor staff on internal control awareness and audit readinessSupport external audits and regulatory inspections with documentation and coordinationContinuously benchmark and refine audit practices to match market best standardsQualificationsExpertise in Audit Reports and Financial AuditsStrong Analytical and Finance-related skillsEffective Communication abilities in professional settingsHigh attention to detail and the ability to adhere to regulatory standardsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCertification such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent is a plusProficiency in using auditing tools and financial management softwareWhy Join Us?At Al Watani Group, we value innovation, integrity, and impact.
