Internal Auditor

Our client, a well-established organization in the food production and FMCG sector, is seeking a meticulous and analytical Internal Auditor to join their headquarters team. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional departments, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and strong internal control systems across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Conduct internal audits independently to assess internal controls, business risks, and compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.Review and evaluate operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and compliance with internal procedures.Collect and analyze data to identify deficiencies, risks, and opportunities for cost reduction or process improvement.Prepare audit plans, reports, and recommendations to enhance operational effectiveness.Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to auditing standards.Verify the accuracy of accounting records, fixed assets, inventory, and transactional data in ERP systems.Participate in special audit assignments, investigations, and risk assessment projects.Stay updated with evolving audit regulations (e.g., Capital Market Authority) and suggest process improvements.Support the implementation of previous audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in internal audit or a related discipline.Professional certifications such as CIA or CICA are an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and MS Office tools.Solid understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
