Job Description
Heidelberg Materials Trading is the international trading arm of the Heidelberg Materials Group, handling overseas dry-bulk products exports and imports. For our Dubai office, we are looking for dynamic talents to join our team as;International Accounting Assistant Manager / ManagerKey Responsibilities:Support and oversee the accounting process across international entitiesEnsure expense and invoice accounting controls align with company policiesConduct detailed fixed cost analysis and provision accounting reviewsValidate accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial reportingGuide and support the finance team in daily operationsManage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing transactionsEnsure compliance with statutory regulations and Group requirementsDeliver insightful analysis during monthly financial closingsSupport consolidation and timely submission of financial reports to HM GroupReconcile year-end balances and ensure accurate postings across companiesReview and ensure accuracy of quarterly group recharge invoicesMonitor provisions and related payments (e.g., severance, annual leave)Run and review month-end foreign currency revaluationsValidate group IT recharge balances and approve reported figuresMonitor annual bonus provisions and conduct budget analysesUpload planned fixed cost figures into ERP and prepare purchase ordersReview fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and fixed cost reports during closingsOversee monthly inter-company reconciliation and follow up on overdue balancesAnalyze monthly operating results against budget and forecastsPrepare and present monthly management reportsReview payroll records submitted by HR for accuracyConduct fixed cost analyses during budgeting and present findingsManage Dubai audit process and ensure timely trade license renewalPrepare and present annual overhead recharge management reportNegotiate and manage relations with local service providersDrive ERP system improvements and ensure successful implementationAnalyze monthly cash flow needs and ensure timely funding for service companiesProvide financial input and analysis for new fixed cost-related projectsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or EconomicsMaster’s degree in finance or accounting is a plus7+ years of experience in international accounting or financeCPA or ACCA certification strongly preferredProficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting toolsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWe thank all applicants for their interest, but only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.All applications will be kept strictly confidential.
