Want to shape the future of the energy category on a global scale?Join our Off Premise Sales Team as an International Category Development Manager at our HQ in Salzburg, Austria!All the responsibilities we'll trust you with: CATEGORY MANAGEMENTIn this role, you´ll strategically develop channel, customer, and market category management business plans that integrate with overall business goals. In addition, you’ll turn insights into actions by executing, analysing, and evaluating category plans. You’ll utilise knowledge of market, customer, and Category Management to facilitate the customer business planning process and lead that dialogue across the organisation.
SUPPORT LOCAL MARKETS & RETAILERSYou’ll establish and maintain a partnership with Trade Marketing Managers, Key Account Managers, and Retail Partners in the development of strategic plans for category management and provide leading edge category management solutions. You’ll provide strategic direction to local teams and implement category development programs by leading the dialogue to focus on category growth opportunities. In addition, you’ll lead Category Engagement with leading retailers across multiple markets and develop and facilitate top-to-top meetings with key retailers.
TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE HUBYou’ll work with Global, Regional & Local Trade Marketing teams to facilitate and further develop and refine Red Bull’s globally leading Category Management training programs. You’ll support the Global Category Manager on the process of updating case studies, training materials, and strategy. Another part of the role is to champion knowledge sharing and create an environment to share best practices and category updates by utilizing all available platforms.
STORYTELLING & “SO WHAT?”You’ll focus on transforming raw data into selling stories that address specific business needs and communicate findings of analysis on key platforms (Share Points, Webinars, Podcasts). You’ll understand the needs, expectations, and ways of working of your stakeholders to deliver impactful selling material based on shopper data. You'll represent the voice of the Category at different Summits Globally and present to large audiences.
CATEGORY VISIONYou’ll be responsible for ensuring that our teams worldwide have the best resources and knowledge when it comes to deploying a Category Vision to guide internal long-term strategy and top-to-top relationships with key customers. You possess the ability to funnel the global strategy into tangible, actionable, and measurable local plans to drive success. Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
5+ years in category management/trade marketing with customer-facing experience; strong knowledge of the consumer goods industry, ideally food & beverageFluent in EnglishAdvanced analytical skills with expertise in Nielsen IQ, Circana, and other data tools; high proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and planogram software (e. g. Blue Yonder JDA, Nexgen)Skilled in delivering insights through clear communication, presentations, and training across all organizational levelsDetail-oriented, structured, and process-driven professional with an innovative, solution-oriented, and strategic mindsetDue to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 3. 139 gross per month.
