INTERNATIONAL PURCHASING AND IMPORT MANAGER

We are looking for an International Purchasing and Import Manager for a company operating in the motorcycle and bicycle spare parts sector. The ideal candidate should have advanced English skills, be well-versed in the Chinese and Far East markets, and have extensive experience in import operations.Position Objective: This role will manage the company’s end-to-end international purchasing and import operations, oversee the processes of team members, report directly to the General Manager, and strengthen international supplier relationships.Responsibilities:Manage international purchasing and import operations teams and ensure process accuracy,Research new suppliers in China and the Far East, conducting price, quality, and delivery-time analyses,Coordinate the entire purchasing process from supplier selection to delivery,Handle sea freight processes, including import documentation, freight, customs, and payments,Prepare purchasing performance reports and present them to management,Attend industry fairs in China and, when necessary, in other countries to analyze new suppliers and product opportunities,Be responsible for ERP, web, and other software developments related to purchasing and import operations, communicate needs and requests to developers, and work on resolving any software or process-related issues.Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role,Advanced level English proficiency,Strong knowledge of import operations and Far East supply chain processes,Experience with sea freight operations,Preferably experience in the motorcycle/bicycle, automotive, machinery spare parts, or hardware sectors.
