International Sales Director - Recreational Sports Goods.

We are partnering with a US based organisation who operate an established and growing business in the US. Our client design and distribute toys, accessories and equipment for consumers who love outdoor life. They produce product for water recreation, outdoor leisure and fitness products for pool, lake, snow and the general outdoors. Our client are now expanding into Europe and require an International Sales Director to develop the business strategy and deliver it. This organisation has a number of business channels including:Wholesale.Their own digital website. Selling through Platforms.We seek an individual who has a minimum of some 10 years + sales experience in the same / similar categories - outdoor and sporting goods with proven success in Germany and wider Europe. The product area is water recreation, outdoor leisure and fitness products for pool, lake, snow and the general outdoors. We seek an individual who has worked and managed a Distribution Partner and can introduce the "best fit" Distributor to the organisation. You must have a strong network of Key Buyers and commercial decision makers across major retailers and platforms. Naturally, you will speak English and German and also have a strong understanding of EU product compliance, testing and packaging standards.We seek an individual who has a minimum of some 10 years + sales experience in outdoor and sporting goods with proven success in Germany and wider Europe. This is a start up in Europe, we are looking for an individual who can demonstrate "how it should be done" in Europe. You must have an Entrepreneurial mind set with a self starting, results oriented work style.This is a remote working role - you may be based anywhere in Germany and have the rights to live and work in Europe.
