Our client, a global leader in e-commerce, is looking for an International Tax Manager - Indirect Tax. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality, functioning as a VAT adviser to Business partners and other stakeholders seeking to implement new initiatives, and managing VAT planning projects across EU/UK jurisdictions. The role requires involvement beyond providing tax advice – implement requirements with non-Tax stakeholders across Finance and Tech.ResponsibilitiesAdvising business partners and other stakeholders seeking to implement new initiatives (product and country expansions, automation projects)Researching advanced VAT issues, working with outside advisers as necessaryReviewing financial data for proper application of tax laws and advising on development and maintenance of systems which provide tax information required to be reportedMaintaining and communicating knowledge of past, present and potential future European VAT laws, regulations, rulings, procedures and court decisionsSpecific deliverables include: external VAT analyses (with the client’s external tax advisors); tax requirement documents (project based); day to day Business support via e-mails and meetings.Your ProfileA minimum of 10-12 years of international income tax experience with a public accounting firm, major law firm, and/or in industry, preferably a multinational corporationExcellent written and oral communication skills in EnglishExperience of working with European tax lawsTo include yourself in this recruitment process; to find out more information about this role; or to discuss other career opportunities we have available, please contact Muriel Mercier as soon as possibleCONFIDENTIALITY ASSURED.Ready For Next.
