We were meant to fly.As Intern - Connected Flow Implementation & Material Planning you will support the Materials Planning and Execution (MP&E) function. You will optimize material flow, supply chain processes and SAP utilization to achieve on-time delivery, competitive inventory levels and alignment with customer requirements.You will gain hands-on experience in planning, coordination, and execution of materials strategies while collaborating across multiple functions.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesAssist in Connected Flow Implementation: Support the deployment of Connected Flow initiatives, including process mapping, data analysis, and system integration to enhance material flow efficiencyMaterial Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production, sales, purchasing and suppliers to schedule the receipt of materials and ensure alignment with production demandData Management and Reporting: Update databases, track raw material readiness, and edit routine documents to maintain accurate and actionable informationProcurement and Expediting: Follow up on procurement activities, expedite critical materials, and ensure timely delivery to meet production schedulesProblem Solving and Resolution: Learn how to evaluate and resolve manufacturing material quality and supply issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectivelyInventory Optimization: Assist in maintaining competitive inventory levels through effective supply chain management and SAP utilizationCross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with various teams to ensure the shop has the necessary materials and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirementsProject Support: Contribute to the development and implementation of e-sourcing plans to reduce cost and cycle timeQualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Management EngineeringKnowledge of Microsoft Office tools, expecially ExcelFluent in Italian and good level of EnglishAnalytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insightsClear Thinker: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.Passion for technology, willingness to learn from othersWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsResults-Oriented: Motivated, focused on achieving goals, and able to perform effectively in ambiguous situationsTeam Player: Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work across functions.Technical Aptitude: Interest in supply chain processes, materials planning, and SAP systemsInclusion & DiversityAvio Aero is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and we are strongly committed to maintain an inclusive and diverse environment.
