About this PositionWe are looking for a proactive and motivated intern to join our Engineering and Maintenance team at our manufacturing facility. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in equipment maintenance, engineering projects, and process optimization. The internship focuses on supporting the reliability of plant operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and digital transformation in a fast-paced industrial environment.What You´ll DoSupport Maintenance Leadership and Asset Reliability:Assist in implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and uptime. Use data from the Maintenance Management System to monitor equipment performance and suggest optimizations. Support maintenance schedules for planned and unplanned repairs, collaborating with technicians to minimize downtime. Digital Transformation in Engineering and Maintenance:Contribute to the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT sensors, predictive analytics, and digital twins for maintenance and equipment monitoring. Collaborate on integrating new digital tools and software into maintenance workflows, enhancing real-time decision-making. Assist in the rollout and training of staff on digital platforms, ensuring smooth adoption and utilization. Engineering and Technical Assistance:Participate in plant modifications, upgrades, and new installations, incorporating digital solutions for enhanced system performance. Assist in root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Work with the team on infrastructure improvement projects to support continuous production excellence. Capital Investment and Project Management:Collaborate on site capital investment projects, contributing to project planning, tracking, and reporting. Assist in evaluating project feasibility, ensuring alignment with long-term operational and strategic goals. Support compliance with project management standards, emphasizing safety and environmental considerations. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with production, safety, quality, and other departments to align maintenance and engineering activities with operational needs. Support the coordination of activities to ensure plant schedules and quality standards are met.
