PositionYou will work within the Nordic Visual Merchandising Organization and report to the Merchandising Manager. You will be part of our team collaborating closely with our Commercial, Customer Service and Marketing Department. This internship will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark.Job responsibilitiesYour Main Responsibilities Will BeDevelop local trade animations and point of sale material with external suppliers, from briefing through to installation, within budgetary parameters and to retailer specification, whilst upholding the brand image.Create and communicate Visual Merchandising Guidelines and planograms for all launches and animations, to both internal and external teams, in order to ensure effective and consistent implementation.Conduct regular VM reviews of each activity, collating quantitative and qualitative feedback, for both internal teams and external suppliers. Build picture reports for HQ.Responsible for planning and ordering of POSM and testers for all VM activity and rollouts.Support with planning and ordering POSM and testers for new counter openings.Fulfil lightbox and digital screen spreadsheets for all launches and review artwork.Monitor and respond to Area Manager team queries on VM communication channel and report outstanding issues to manager in weekly catchup.Responsible for coordinating local maintenance with external parties and field team.Carry out regular field visits and may attend installations at key launches and new store openings.General ad hoc tasks and raising purchase orders.ProfileRole Specific CompetenciesMaster Student looking for an end-study internshipFluent in English (Danish or French is a plus)Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, knowledge of Adobe suite and SketchupExcellent communication skills both written and oralClear, prompt and concise reporting styleAbility to act on own initiativeAbility to communicate and Implement VM plansMethodical and acutely attentive to detailUnderstanding of different brands’ DNA and visual strategyCreativity and design skillsProfileExperience in Visual Merchandising preferredKnowledge of luxury Perfumes and Cosmetics MarketEnergetic self-motivatorAdditional information6 months Internship, full time Internship agreement required - Internship must be part of educational program for school credits.Additional information for internal candidateSince 1947, the men and women of Parfums Christian Dior have embodied the founding "couturier-perfumer's" unique spirit of excellence, creativity and expertise, both in France and throughout the world.
