Role: Intern- S&OP Brand: NYXLocation: El Segundo, CAOverviewCome and be a part of the exciting and dynamic world of L’Oréal USA as a S&OP Intern! We are currently looking for a 12 month intern to work with our NYX Professional Makeup S&OP Team. This extraordinary paid internship opportunity requires a candidate to have received a degree in Supply Chain or other related field. They should also be able to work up to 40 hours per week both remotely and out of our L'Oreal West Coast headquarters. The qualified individual will work on challenging projects, learn and be mentored by our S&OP team and will gain exposure to our top talent and a variety of L’Oréal brands and divisions.ObjectivesUnderstand the interconnectivity between our 3 main functions of supply chain that we manage for NYXPM: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Physical DistributionBuild on this understanding to support projects around Business Intelligence, Process & Change Control, KPIs and ReportingDevelop a sensitivity to the key priorities of the brand and where we win within the industry – leveraging this to bring a Pareto approach to how to we workGoals/Deliverables1-2 projects deliverables per 3 functionsDemand Planning: country catalog cleanup, KPI file maintenance, and analysisSupply Planning: material status management process & KPIs, discontinuation process & change controlPhysical Distribution: creating SOPs, mapping out process & change control for IDCsSkills RequiredCollege Degree or equivalentProficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, vlookups, formulas)Have the ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, and multi-taskDetail oriented and well organizedTeam player who can also function well independently Knowledge of SAP preferredKnowledge of Business Intelligence apps preferredKnowledge of international shipping terms preferred
