Internship as Sales Assistant (Stock Option Plans)

ContextOur Global Markets business, part of Investment Banking division, provides a comprehensive suite of financial products to meet our clients’ needs ranging from financing and market access to yield enhancement and hedging. Our clients include financial institutions, corporations, investment managers, institutional investors and public sector institutions. Our Global Markets Business lines includes Equity Sales, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Stock Option Plans, Forex and Liquidity Providing.Your positionAs an intern, you will contribute to a wide range of initiatives within the derivatives business. This includes supporting Stock Option Plans for Belgian corporates, as well as assisting in the development and distribution of Structured Products. You will be actively involved in both strategic and operational aspects of our derivatives offering. We are looking for an intern who could join our team as of January/February 2026 for a minimum period of 4 months.Your function is a real mix between the customer relationship assistant and administrative dimension through analysing all aspects of the SOP and structured products demand.Responsibilities Prepare and present stock option plans to potential clients Optimize files using VBA code Participate in sales meetings with clients and partners Conduct market research and contribute to market trend analysis Assist in managing relationships with current and potential clients Provide general administrative support for ongoing projectsYour profile Education in finance Relevant sales experience is preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, Dutch is an advantage you are proficient in MS office and VBA Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong team-working skills and ability to communicate with colleagues at different levelsOur offerFor more than 150 years, Degroof Petercam has been a reference investment house.
