About The RoleIn this role, you will be part of the Group Accounting, Consolidation and Reporting (“GACR”) team which is responsible for consolidation and financial reporting of Versuni. As well as annual, quarterly, and monthly financial reporting, GACR also works on significant projects within Versuni such as finance knowledge management and improvement projects.Location: Amsterdam (hybrid working)Type: Internship (non-thesis)Duration: 6 months. We prefer students able to extend up to a maximum of 12 months.Working Hours: Full-time (40h/w) preferableExpected start date: ASAPThe Impact You’ll MakeAssist in the planning and co-ordination of the quarterly press release and annual report process, this involves liaising with other teams within Versuni (e.g.: FP&A, tax).Retrieval of data from financial system (Group Reporting) and processing in Group Report systemAssist in the monthly internal financial reporting process and analytical reviews.Analyses and reports on business performance during monthly & quarterly financial reporting cycles.Contribute to other ad-hoc projects, such as CSRD projects or process improvements projects.The Skills And Knowledge You’ll BringCurrently studying towards Bachelors or master’s in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration, an interest in IFRS and financial reportingGood knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint)Team player, with good communication skills and a positive attitudeOrganized, with a structured approach to work and attention to detail; ability to prioritize and to work under pressureFluency in oral and written EnglishWhat We’ll Give You In ReturnThis is a great opportunity to gain experience within a high performing finance team. Formal documentation of which may be requested at any time. Students from outside the EU need to fill in an NUFFIC agreement, which needs to be signed by the student and the university.
