As a Global Clinical Materials Manager (GCMM) in our Production Enablement function, you will play a pivotal role in leading procurement and supply planning for clinical trials, driving operational excellence, and collaborating with global partners in a dynamic, inclusive environment. Together, we make a difference while optimizing quality, cost, and timely delivery of vital clinical supplies.The OpportunityIn this role, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact by taking on the following key responsibilities:Ensure seamless availability of drug products and packaging materials to meet clinical manufacturing requirements, guaranteeing timely production of investigational medical productsMaintain accurate master data for drug products in SAP systems, including defining, compiling, and continuously updating product-specific data and documentsManage purchase orders for development, partner, and commercial drug products from both internal and external suppliers using the appropriate procurement systemsLead supplier relationship management by monitoring supplier performance through KPIs, driving continuous improvements, and fostering transparent collaborationsEnsure batch availability and readiness of drug products and packaging materials for downstream manufacturing processesProactively identify, address, and resolve supply chain and procurement issues to ensure smooth global clinical supply operationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams in an inclusive, innovative, and international environment to drive excellence in clinical supply chain managementContribute to a high-performing team culture where teamwork, professional growth, and delivering impact for patients are prioritizedWho You AreThese qualities and experiences make you an ideal candidate for this role:You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or Supply Chain Management, with experience in SAP systems and the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry as a valuable assetYou are a clear and professional communicator, both in writing and verbally, with excellent English skills (basic knowledge of German is a plus)You excel in building trustful relationships with diverse business partners, demonstrating high cultural awareness and social competence in international and cross-functional settingsYou are a problem solver with keen attention to detail, strong decision-making abilities, and an understanding of technical systems, allowing you to quickly learn and adapt to new challengesYou thrive in collaborative environments and bring well-developed teamwork, negotiation, and organizational skills to complex situationsPlanned start date: December 2025Duration: 12 monthsReady to apply?
