Internship in Materials Sciences: Characterization of Ferroelectrics

Data traffic is exploding! We currently have 50+ strong talents on the team, and we support the growth of our students and recent graduates.TasksDuring this internship, you will map the crystal structure of thin films into a range of physical properties. The goal of the project is to develop data analysis routines for advanced characterization methods like X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) to improve our fundamental understanding of the functional properties of our devices. Your daily tasks may include:Develop X-ray and TEM data collection procedures for the accurate determination of the thin film structural parameters.Develop the required software (Python based) for the data analysis.Analyze data with the software you developed and prepare documentation and reports.RequirementsSeeking a motivated candidate with a strong interest in materials science/engineering, physics or chemistry. Desired qualifications:Interest in working with X-ray diffractograms and TEM images.Good Python programming skills for implementing data reduction and analysis routines.Good communication skills, team spirit, and a desire to contribute within a dynamic deep-tech startup.Eligibility: Completion of a Bachelor’s program in Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or similar field.BenefitsAt Lumiphase, we offer a young, fast-growing, and dynamic working environment with broad options for personal development.
