Job Description

We are looking for a fast paced and vigilant Inventory Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for optimizing our inventory, moving stock to better selling locations, creating packages for our marketing team to place on campaigns, and maintaining a healthy sell-through rate of all our inventory. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in an analytical and fast-paced environment and has a passion for Kpop.Kpop Nara is a rapidly growing Kpop merchandise retailer with 10 vibrant stores. We're passionate about bringing the best of Kpop to our fans, and that means our inventory management has to be near perfection. We're looking for a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team remotely.This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on numbers, logic, and persuasion. You'll be the central point of managing any inventory that is past 7 days, suggesting internal transfers, returns, restocks, and proposing sales. Your efforts will directly contribute to our inventory conversion to cash and up-leveling our operation to become more precise, ultimately enabling us to deliver products that our customers desire.What you’ll do:Analyze weekly store-level inventory and sell through (SKU / artist / version level)Recommend internal transfers (reallocations) to maximize sell-through while accounting for transfer cost (logistics + labor)Identify slow-moving inventory and propose targeted campaigns, bundles, or promotionsPartner with Marketing to execute sale campaigns; track uplift, ROI, and learningsCreate weekly performance dashboards / summaries to share with leadershipProvide monthly feedback loops to buyers / ordering team (what we need more of, what we should stop buying, where we are overbought, ideal WOS per category)Monitor trends, release calendars, and tour schedules to anticipate demand shiftsWhat we're looking for:Must have understanding of K-pop fandom and collector behaviors (album versions, PCs, special editions, merch buying patterns)Strong analytical mindset (data literacy: spreadsheets, basic forecasting logic)Retail or e-commerce experience preferred (allocation, merchandising, planning, or ops)Able to prioritize impact → move fast → deliver daily outputsComfortable recommending decisions and owning resultsCan work cross-functionally with marketing, store ops, and buyingNative in either Korean or EnglishAbility to work on a regular basis in either Korea or US timezones to align with our business operationsThe Details:This position is a remote role and you can be based anywhere in the world as long as you can adjust time zonesThe position will have a three month evaluation period before turning to a full-time position
