Job Description

Your Role and Impact• Monitoring and reconciling inventory balances across warehouses to maintain accuracy.• Conducting FIFO (First-In-First-Out) analysis during monthly closings and recommending adjustments based on findings.• Updating and maintaining purchase agreements as required• Setting and updating standard costs for new inventory items, including freight cost modeling and adjustments• Performing annual standard cost updates to ensure accurate inventory valuation in line with accounting standards.• Calculating and managing provisions for Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory in collaboration with cross-functional teams• Coordinating with warehouse managers on physical inventory counts and cycle counts to verify stock accuracy.• Supporting controllers by analyzing inventory adjustments and variances, investigating root causes, and suggesting corrective actions• Assisting with month-end inventory closing activities and preparing related financial reports• Providing documentation and analysis support during internal and external audits Your eligibility• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.• Minimum 3 years of inventory accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, retail, or distribution environments• Strong understanding of inventory costing methods such as FIFO and weighted average
