Hundreds of thousands of patients worldwide have already benefited from this assistance to navigate the diagnosis of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and the oral device treatment pathway to successful outcomes.The Inventory Controller is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring that stock is maintained at appropriate levels to meet customer demand without incurring excess inventory costs. This role involves the development and implementation of inventory control systems, conducting regular stock audits, and ensuring accurate inventory reporting. The Inventory Controller plays a critical role in supporting the efficiency of the supply chain by coordinating with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams.The role will report to Supply Chain Manager.Job ResponsibilitiesDemand Planning & Forecasting:Develop, validate, and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market intelligence, and cross-functional inputs.Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and Production teams to align forecasts with business strategies and product launches.Monitor forecast accuracy (FA) and bias, and implement corrective actions. Inventory Management:Ensure optimal stock levels to balance customer service levels with working capital efficiency.Conduct ABC/XYZ analysis to classify inventory and determine appropriate control mechanisms.Identify slow-moving, obsolete, and excess (SLOB) inventory and coordinate disposition plans.Maintain system accuracy for stock counts, adjustments, and reconciliations.Supply Planning:Develop and monitor supply plans aligned with production capacity, supplier lead times, and demand signals.Manage material requirements planning (MRP) and safety stock levels to mitigate risks of shortages or overstock.Support procurement in vendor performance monitoring, lead time adherence, and order optimization.Analytics & Reporting:Generate and analyze KPIs such as Inventory Turnover, Days of Inventory on Hand (DOH), Fill Rate, Forecast Accuracy, and Service Level.Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and present data-driven insights to leadership.Prepare monthly executive-level presentations summarizing supply and demand performance, risks, and action plans.Process Excellence:Drive continuous improvement in demand planning, inventory control, and supply chain processes through data analytics, system enhancements, and lean practices.Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, Good Warehouse Practices (GWP), and company-specific policies.Analytical & Detail-Oriented:Strong quantitative skills; ability to manipulate large datasets and derive actionable insights.High accuracy in reporting, reconciliations, and inventory management.Skilled in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action planning.Communication & Presentation:Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.Confident in delivering presentations to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.Ability to influence decision-making through storytelling supported by data.Leadership & Collaboration:Works effectively with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Procurement, Production, Finance, Supply Chain).Demonstrates confidence in leading discussions and driving alignment in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.Able to build trust and credibility with senior management.Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, macros, power query) & PowerPoint for executive reporting.Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or equivalent).Familiarity with demand planning toolsStrong understanding of supply chain KPIs, statistical forecasting, and inventory control methodologies.Data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) for impactful executive presentations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related field.Certification in inventory or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is preferred.Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, macros, power query) & PowerPoint for executive reporting.Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or equivalent).Familiarity with demand planning toolsStrong understanding of supply chain KPIs, statistical forecasting, and inventory control methodologies.Data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) for impactful executive presentations.Good CommunicationMeticulous, well-organized and able to work in a team environment.Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.At least with experience working in a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated capability in Innovation, Transformation, Commitment to Quality and Customer CentricSelf-motivated with attitude, passion, and energy in abundanceAbility to deal with ambiguity.
