Job Title: Inventory & Fixed Asset AccountantLocation: IbadanCompany: Ubereness (FMCG)Salary: ₦250,000 GrossUbereness is expanding its Finance structure and is seeking an experienced Inventory & Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team. This role is field-intensive and requires strong hands-on experience with stock control, physical verification, and fixed asset management.Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular and ad hoc physical stock counts across warehouses and reconcile all variances.Maintain accurate inventory ledgers and ensure timely stock adjustments and reconciliations.Update and manage the fixed asset register, including tagging, verification, and movement tracking.Review all inbound and outbound stock documentation (GRNs, transfer notes, etc.) for accuracy.Prepare weekly and monthly inventory and asset reports for management.Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to strengthen inventory control processes.Support internal and external audits with required documentation and schedules.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in inventory accounting, stock audit, or warehouse finance.Experience with physical stock counts and fixed asset management is essential.Strong Excel and ERP/accounting system proficiency.Excellent reconciliation, documentation, and follow-up skills.Competencies:Strong ownership and accountability.High integrity and reliability.Process discipline and attention to detail.Problem-solving mindset.Effective stakeholder engagement.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who thrive in a structured FMCG environment and enjoy field-based financial control work.Interested and qualified candidates should apply immediately.
